My camera enables me to make impact.
My name is Kimberley (23). I'm a graduate student at Columbia University from the Netherlands and Uganda. From a young age, I enjoyed being in front of and behind a camera. I later became drawn to professional photography and videography because I enjoy the art of capturing a memory authentically. Moreover, I feel energized when I can offer someone imagery that makes them feel proud of themselves or their business.
My photography and videography style in three words:
creative, confident, and candid

I am the former president of the Dutch National Youth Council. I represented the interests of youth in the Netherlands in national media and spoke in front of audiences of up to 3000 individuals.
At the moment, alongside my master's in Global Thought at Columbia University, I'm a social media and communications intern at NGO CSW/NY, the largest convenor of feminist and women's rights organizations in the world.
I recently started content creation as a form of creative storytelling. I want to use my platform to raise awareness about societal issues and to bring people along on my journey of starting a social enterprise. This summer, I will launch an international public relations agency for cause-driven individuals and organizations.
